Louisa’s Porch offers an intimate, home stay experience, more akin to borrowing a friend’s home than staying in a traditional B&B. There are only two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom en suite. Each suite is named for a nearby mountain.

Choose from the Beaucatcher Suite with its Art Deco furnishings or the Country-styled Pisgah Suite. Both are quiet, airy, open and sunny. Both rooms are spacious and have queen-sized beds and flat screen televisions. You will also have access to free wireless internet but there are no telephones in the rooms.

Reserve a single room or, if you’d like the privacy of spending time with another couple, special friends or close family, reserve both rooms and take over the entire house. Either way, you’ll have a “morning butler” on hand to prepare a gourmet breakfast and clean your rooms.

Downtown Asheville is just three blocks away, an easy six minute walk.

Both guest rooms, each with a private bath, are on the upper floor and share a “conversation loft” at the top of the stairs and overlooking the two story foyer. This area is an excellent place to relax, read or chat with friends or other guests.

In addition to well-lighted, comfortable seating, there is a beverage station complete with wine chiller, single serve tea/coffee maker, ice and a microwave oven.

Presently, there are no telephones to disturb your peaceful holiday stay. Wireless internet is available and free within the home. Soothing music is available in the living and dining rooms.
